Group Music Sessions
Our 0-4 year old group music sessions are 45 minute interactive sessions encouraging children to develop core skills such as rhythm, tempo, pitch, texture, and dynamics. Our 4 year old classes build on these skills in more depth and also introduce orchestral instruments alongside the global percussion. The Baby Classes (0-18 months) are ½ hour sessions and follow a very similar imaginative programme that is more age-specific.

All group session musicians record their learning in their personal Salt Box Musicians Manual! The manual provides a reference document that can be used by musicians, parents, and carers, to have Salt Box fun at home as well. A week is a long time in a small person's world so the Musicians Manual also provides continuity from one session to another.
We provide a relaxed and comfortable environment that provides the young musicians with the space and freedom to be able to fully express themselves in their own way at their own pace.
Our group music sessions must be booked in advance. We carefully monitor the number of young musicians at each session to ensure that we maintain a quality environment to learn and have fun in.
Although booking is essential we do not have a membership fee, as we are confident that you will enjoy your sessions!
